DICKSON CITY, LACKAWANNA CO. (WOLF) — Lehigh Valley Hospital–Dickson City will reopen its emergency department around the clock beginning Feb. 13, 2026, hospital officials announced, marking a major step in recovery after last week’s fire.
In addition to restoring 24/7 emergency room operations, the hospital will also resume surgeries and inpatient care services. Patients whose procedures were postponed due to the fire will be contacted by their physicians’ offices to arrange new dates.
Hospital leaders said efforts are continuing to fully restore additional services at the Dickson City campus.
