BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA — Amtrak will begin to make repairs to the overhead bridge on Haunted Lane starting on Tuesday, PennDOT said.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said that drivers are advised of the following travel restrictions:
Tuesday, Feb. 17, through Thursday, May 14, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Haunted Lane will be closed and detoured weekdays between Marshall Lane and U.S. 13 (Bristol Pike). During the closure, drivers will be directed to use State Road, Route 132 (Street Road), and U.S 13 (Bristol Pike).
Local access will be maintained, PennDOT said.
Drivers should allow extra time when traveling through or near the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather-dependent.
Drivers can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information, and access to more than 1,200 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional X alerts.
