Donna M. Jezorwski

OBITUARY

Donna M. Jezorwski, of Moosic and formerly of Avoca, died Wednesday in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre. She was 61 years of age.

Born in Taylor, daughter of her loving mother, Mary Belli Jezorwski of Moosic and the late Eugene Jezorwski, Sr., she was a 1982 graduate of Pittston Area High School and attended Marywood College. In her younger days, Donna worked for Five Star in Dunmore, and later, for P&W Washo Inc., Olyphant, where she was a well-respected general manager who kept the entire office running smoothly. She was employed there for 39 remarkable years. Her steady and tireless work ethic and integrity earned her the admiration of coworkers, clients, and friends alike. The Washo family was more than an employer to her. She considered them family. They, in turn, felt the same. Her commitment was not measured in years, but in relationships built, trust earned, and countless lives she touched.

Donna was also well-known in the Triboro area and beyond as the 20 year owner of Bloomin’ Idiots Garden Center on Lonesome Road, Old Forge until its recent closing. She adored her time there and the relationships she developed with customers.

Beyond her career, Donna was an avid softball player in the past and was a fan of the Jacksonville Jaguars football team.

Surviving, in addition to her beloved mother, Mary Belli Jezorwski, are a brother-in-law, Curt Russell of Kingston; her nephews, Brandon Hudacko (wife Kayla), Mark Jezorwski (girlfriend Lauren), and Jeremy Russell; and her cherished work family.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Jezorwski, Jr; and sisters, Lisa Ann Jezorwski Hudacko and Deborah Jezorwski Russell.

The funeral will be Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2026 with a Catholic Blessing Service by Rev. Thomas Petro at 10:30 AM in Ferri & Gillette Funeral Services, LLC, 522 Fallon St., Old Forge. Interment and committal rites will follow at SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, Moosic.
