Young basketball players had the chance to learn from some of the pros over the weekend.
The Lake Erie Jackals, Erie’s new professional basketball team, held a skills clinic for kids at the Mellon Heritage Field House in North East.
The clinic took boys ages eight to 18 through rotations to improve their basic basketball skills layups, shooting, defense, rebounds, passing, and footwork.
The Jackals, operating under the umbrella of the nonprofit Integrity First, make it a priority to get out in the community like this to be role models.
