PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania wrestling team closes out dual action on Thursday, Feb. 19, hosting Rider for a Senior Day showdown in the Palestra at 7 p.m.

*Penn had a busy weekend on the road, battling #15 Lehigh (L, 14-24) on Friday and Princeton (L, 14-23) on Saturday before closing the weekend at the Lock Haven Open II where four Quakers earned podium spots on Sunday.

*Jude Swisher and Cross Wasilewski went undefeated in duals on the weekend, with Swisher taking down #11 Logan Rozynski (3-1) and Rocco Camillaci (15-3), and Wasilewski topping Matt Repos (12-2) and #10 Eligh Rivera (11-2).
*At Lock Haven, Nathan Taylor (141) and Xander Kuokkanen (184) led the charge for Penn, earning runner-up finishes at their weights. John Vinciguerra placed third at heavyweight, and Deven Casey landed fourth at 133 to round out the Red and Blue on the podium.

*The Quakers will celebrate the Class of 2026 before Thursday’s meet, honoring Evan Bennett, CJ Composto, Matthew Cruise, Kelly Dunnigan, Hunter Gandy, Kyle Hauserman, Brady Pruett, Adam Thomson, Andy Troczynski, and Lance Urbas.

*Six Quakers sit in the Intermat and FloWrestling rankings, with sophomore Wasilewski leading the charge at #5 in the 149 field. #9 Composto (141), #11 Swisher (157), #12 Evan Mougalian , #19 Sean Seefeldt, and #25 Davis Motyka round out the Red and Blue in the individual rankings.

*Rider is on a three-meet win streak heading into Thursday’s dual closer, bringing wins over Drexel (30-10), Bloomsburg (42-0), and Lock Haven (29-12) into University City.
