PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania wrestling team closes out dual action on Thursday, Feb. 19, hosting Rider for a Senior Day showdown in the Palestra at 7 p.m.

The Penn vs. Rider Series
*Rider holds the all-time advantage in the series leading 5-3.
 
*The Broncs are on a five-meet streak in the series, taking the most recent matchup 20-18 during the 2018 season.
 
*Penn has not won a battle in the series since the 2011-12 campaign, when the Quakers came out on top 22-9 in University City.
 
Quaker Notemeal
*Penn had a busy weekend on the road, battling #15 Lehigh (L, 14-24) on Friday and Princeton (L, 14-23) on Saturday before closing the weekend at the Lock Haven Open II where four Quakers earned podium spots on Sunday.
 
*Jude Swisher and Cross Wasilewski went undefeated in duals on the weekend, with Swisher taking down #11 Logan Rozynski (3-1) and Rocco Camillaci (15-3), and Wasilewski topping Matt Repos (12-2) and #10 Eligh Rivera (11-2).

*At Lock Haven, Nathan Taylor (141) and Xander Kuokkanen (184) led the charge for Penn, earning runner-up finishes at their weights. John Vinciguerra placed third at heavyweight, and Deven Casey landed fourth at 133 to round out the Red and Blue on the podium.
 
*The Quakers will celebrate the Class of 2026 before Thursday’s meet, honoring Evan Bennett, CJ Composto, Matthew Cruise, Kelly Dunnigan, Hunter Gandy, Kyle Hauserman, Brady Pruett, Adam Thomson, Andy Troczynski, and Lance Urbas.
 
*Six Quakers sit in the Intermat and FloWrestling rankings, with sophomore Wasilewski leading the charge at #5 in the 149 field. #9 Composto (141), #11 Swisher (157), #12 Evan Mougalian , #19 Sean Seefeldt, and #25 Davis Motyka round out the Red and Blue in the individual rankings.
 
*Wasilewski carries an astounding 23-2 overall record and 9-1 dual record into this week’s competition.
 
Scouting the Broncs
*Rider is on a three-meet win streak heading into Thursday’s dual closer, bringing wins over Drexel (30-10), Bloomsburg (42-0), and Lock Haven (29-12) into University City.
 
*Four Broncs are ranked in the Intermat rankings, with #14 Eli Griffin (141) and #14 Brock Zurawski leading the charge. #15 Tyler Klinsky (125) and #33 Dylan Layton (149) even out Rider’s presence in the rankings.
