Guests are invited to step into an evening of flavor and folklore at Lake Metroparks’ Painesville Township Park on Nov. 15 for the Lake Erie Gales Pairing Dinner.

From 6 to 9 p.m., participants will uncover the mystery and legends that have surrounded Lake Erie and the other Great Lakes for generations, according to a news release.

This special event features a four-course dinner with entrée selections of chicken a La Tosca, baked salmon or vegan eggplant cutlets. Each course is paired with wines from M Cellars.

Between courses, guests canenjoy tales of Lake Erie’s past, then are welcome to take a stroll to the pier or along the well-lit lakefront trail—where reflections on the water and movement on the horizon might just stir the imagination, the release stated.
