An 18-year-old Erie man is facing felony robbery and other charges after city police accused him of robbing a 12-year-old boy of cash during a confrontation Feb. 14.
Danarii T. Mickel is accused in an incident reported in the 500 block of East 21st Street of confronting the boy while the boy was walking, demanding everything the boy had and pressing something into the boy’s stomach that the boy believed was a firearm, Erie Police Chief Rick Lorah said. The boy told police he was robbed of $150, and a juvenile who was with him had $50 taken during the robbery, according to Lorah.
