ALLENTOWN, PA – Indoor Auto Racing is cruising back to the PPL Center next year.

The Ironton Global Allentown Indoor Auto Race will take place on January 9 and 10.

The event will kick off the 2026 Indoor Auto Racing Series for the ninth consecutive year, according to a news release from the center.

The greatest racers in the region compete in auto racing events indoors, the center says.

Whereas most races take place on specific race tracks, the Indoor Auto Racing Championship events take place on the cement floor of the arena, according to the center.

The center says the event features fierce competitors, high speeds, passing, bumps, crashes and flips.

The TQ Midgets, a specialty-built tubular racing frame with a 750cc lightning quick Motorcycle engine; with a total weight of 850 lbs. – including the driver – will headline the event, according to the news release.

The Slingshots and Champ Karts will complete the program, the center said.

Tickets will be available through Ticketmaster at PPLCenter.com beginning Friday, October 29, with exclusive pre-sale access opening Friday, October 24. Tickets will also be available in person at the QNB Box Office at PPL Center.
