Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers still would like traded from the organization, and the Pittsburgh Steelers could be one team that is interested in him.

Meyers requested a trade out of the organization in August, but that has not come to fruition for the talented wide receiver. Instead, he has continued playing, but reiterated on Tuesday that he would welcome a trade.

“I got no control over that. If I’m here, I’m here…Oh, for sure,” Meyers said when asked if he still wanted traded. “But I’m a professional at the end of the day. I’m just trying to play good football.”

Meyers is still battling multiple injuries, too. He has a knee and toe injury that forced him to miss the Raiders’ last game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Some teams believe that for the right price, Meyers could be moved, though the sense is the Raiders would rather have things play out. Meyers requested a trade this summer out of the organization.

“Teams I’ve spoken to believe the Raiders are open to trading wide receiver Jakobi Meyers but are not actively trying to move him. The sense is the Raiders would prefer to play out the season before making major determinations about the roster. But Meyers requested a trade in the preseason, so a potential deal feels at least on the table,” ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler said.

He had 87 receptions for 1027 receiving yards and four touchdowns in 15 games despite the quarterback chaos that occurred around him during 2024. That was a career season for Meyers, who shone with the Raiders and New England Patriots over his career.
