Get ready to go green. Parade of Shamrocks Returns to Downtown Bethlehem in March.

The Celtic Cultural Alliance will present the 16th Annual Parade of Shamrocks in March in Historic Downtown Bethlehem.

The event, organized in partnership with the City of Bethlehem, will feature pipe bands, marching bands, Irish dancers, and local cultural and community organizations throughout the downtown streets. It starts at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 14.

Participant registration is open to community organizations, Girl and Boy Scout troops, school teams and clubs, dance schools, and local businesses. All participating groups will be recognized on the Astound Broadband television broadcast of the parade.

Activities extend beyond the parade itself. The Downtown Bethlehem Association has scheduled events starting at 10 a.m. with the Historic Leprechaun Hunt. Additional details are available at visithistoricbethlehem.com.
