Sandra Jean Heald Cashdollar

Sandra Jean (Heald) Cashdollar, was born April 2, 1950, in Erie PA and entered her eternal life on February 18, 2026, following a battle with pancreatic cancer. She was the beloved daughter of the late Marvin and Dorothy (Fornof) Heald.

Sandee was a lifelong Erie resident and a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was a 1969 graduate of Technical Memorial High School and was employed at Cook-Doyle Steel, Lake Erie Leasing, Erie Steel, and DH Steel as a bookkeeper. Her life journey was marked by her unwavering faith in God and her service to others through the First Presbyterian Church of the Covenant where she served as a deacon and elder. She was known for her amazing fellowship social hours, for the beautiful displays, and the baked goods served! In addition, she served on the bereavement committee for many years providing comfort to others in their time of need.

Sandee enjoyed decorating and had an amazing eye for design. Every season would be well represented throughout her home with extensive displays. She gained enjoyment from simple things in life, walking around her property, gardening, and feeding wild animals. She loved antiquing and travel. She was an amazing baker and could always be counted on to appear at any function with a beautiful cake or cookies. She loved animals, especially her cats. Sandee’s passing has left a void in the hearts of her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Sandee was preceded in death by her brother, who was dearly loved, James L. Heald, and a nephew Matthew Heald. Sandee is survived by her husband Reverend Craig W. Cashdollar and her loving sister Dr. Carol Ann (James) Amann. She was adored by her nieces and nephews Jennifer and Michael Amann of Erie, Michelle (James) Berman of Orlando, Florida, and Ryan Heald of Atlanta, Georgia great nieces Carrah (Riley) Dunbar, Raegan Heald, India Berman, and a great nephew, James (Jake) Berman. She is also survived by her great-great niece and nephew, Everly and Lincoln Dunbar and sister-in-law Deborah Heald. In addition, several close friends are left behind to cherish her memory. Her family would like to thank her dear friends Joanie Curry, Josh and Melissa Long, and her physician Dr. Gary Esper for their unwavering friendship, care, support, and guidance. The family will receive friends at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 4216 Sterrettania Road, Erie, PA 16506 on Saturday, February 21, 2026 from 5 pm until time of the Funeral Service at 7 pm. conducted by the Rev. Chuck Cammarata, A private burial will be held at Linesville Cemetery.
