The VALOR Clinic Foundation will host a Stand Down event across the Lehigh Valley’s three cities on Saturday, Feb. 28, offering basic necessities and support services to veterans and community members in need.
The event will run from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at rotating locations in Easton, Bethlehem, and Allentown. Veterans can receive clothing, footwear, and non-perishable meals, along with connections to supportive services. The foundation will also provide hot meals for homeless individuals in need, regardless of veteran status.
In Easton, the event will take place from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. across from Safe Harbor at 536 Bushkill Drive. Volunteers should arrive at 9:30 a.m.
The event moves to Bethlehem from noon to 1 p.m., with services available across from the Wooden Match Restaurant at 61 W. Lehigh St.
The final stop runs from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. in Allentown at the corner of Union and South Third streets.
