SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – Spring training is back on the Suncoast! ABC 7 meteorologist Megan Kennedy was at LECOM Park, where she learned all about how the field is prepared and maintained.
The Pirates have made Bradenton their southern home since 1969.
This year’s spring training schedule runs through March 23. Tickets and the full schedule are available at Pirates.com/Spring.
Once the Pirates depart for Pittsburgh, LECOM Park transitions to the Bradenton Marauders, the Single-A affiliate of the Pirates. The Marauders’ season runs from April through September. More information is available at BradentonMarauders.com
