TYLER, Texas (KLTV) – A man wanted by the Tyler Police Department for the assault of a Tyler juvenile was arrested in Pennsylvania Thursday where he was working as a school employee.
Michael Robinson, 43, is charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child under 15 years old.

The assault occurred in August of 2024 after Robinson traveled to Tyler after meeting the juvenile online, according to a U.S. Marshals Service release. The juvenile was then sexually assaulted over the course of a weekend, the release stated.
The Smith County District Attorney’s Office indicted Robinson in December of 2025 and transferred the investigation to the U.S. Marshals Service.

The investigation later found Robinson worked as a paraprofessional at a Radnor Township Middle School in Pennsylvania, the release states.
Robinson was spotted on a street around 7:30 a.m. Thursday and arrested without incident.
He is being held at George W. Hill Correctional Facility where he is set to be extradited to Texas.
