A Pennsylvania school employee has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a child in East Texas who he met online in 2024.

TYLER, Texas — A Pennsylvania school employee was arrested Thursday morning on allegations that he sexually assaulted a child he had met online while in East Texas in August 2024.

Michael Robinson, 43, of Radnor, Pennsylvania, was wanted by the Tyler Police Department on a charge of aggravated sexual assault of a child under the age of 15. According to the U.S. Marshals Service, he traveled to Tyler in 2024 after meeting a child online, and over the course of a weekend, he sexually assaulted that child.

The U.S. Marshals Eastern Pennsylvania Violent Crimes Fugitive Task Force and Radnor Township Police arrested Robinson on Thursday morning. He is currently being held at the George W. Hill Correctional Facility awaiting extradition to Texas, according to the USMS.

He was indicted in December 2025 in Smith County, and a warrant was issued and delegated to the Marshals Joint East Texas Fugitive Task Force.

Robinson was employed as a paraprofessional at Radnor Township Middle School in Pennsylvania.

“Crimes against children are some of the most serious warrants our task force investigates. Mr. Robinson’s arrest demonstrates sexual predators will always be pursued relentlessly by the Marshals Service,” said Robert Clark, supervisory deputy U.S. marshal for the Eastern Pennsylvania Violent Crime Fugitive Task Force.
