A 39-year-old woman died from injuries suffered in a crash in Greenfield Twp. on Thursday afternoon, Lackawanna County Coroner Timothy D. Rowland said.
The victim was not identified pending notification of family members.
Crews were called to 551 Route 247 at about 3:15 p.m. for a rollover crash, with possible ejection, near Leo’s Garage, according to scanner reports.
Rowland said the driver lost control of her vehicle and it left the roadway and overturned. She was ejected from the vehicle. Emergency medical services attempted resuscitation at the scene, where she later died from the injuries, Rowland said in a news release.
