ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Allentown will soon be sending warnings to homes on streets with complaints of parking spot savers.
Saving parking spots with items in the street is not allowed, the city said in a news release Friday.
After the warnings are issued, the city says crews will be removing any items still left in the street to “save” parking spots.
It is against city ordinance to have objects in the public right-of-way, according to the news release.
The city says the objects can block emergency vehicles, street sweepers, and trash collection.
“Help us keep streets safe and accessible for everyone,” the city says.
