The Dominican House of Pennsylvania, 1 W. Broad St., Hazleton, celebrated the 182nd anniversary of Dominican Indepedence on Friday. Dominican Independence is celebrated annually on Feb. 27 to mark the nation’s indepedence from Haiti in 1844.
