(WHTM)– An illegal immigrant living in Pennsylvania was charged with voting in the 2024 federal election, according to the U.S. Department of Justice.
The DOJ said Mahady Sacko, 50, of Philadelphia, was arrested and charged with “fraudulent voting in the 2024 federal election by an illegal alien.” Sacko allegedly voted in person in the 2024 general election for federal office, falsely representing that he was a U.S. citizen.

Sack is an illegal immigrant who was ordered deported in 2000, the DOJ said.
He will be sentenced to a maximum of five years in prison if he is convicted, according to the DOJ.
The FBI investigated the case.
