The Greater Reading Chamber Alliance, will host its “State of the County 2026,” 7:30 to 9:30 a.m., Abraham Lincoln, 100 N. 5th St., Reading. GRCA’s State of the County is the new, annual civic briefing on Berks County’s economy and development. The program features a data-driven presentation by the Center for Regional Analysis from EDC Lancaster County, followed by a panel discussion with the Berks County Commissioners, who will examine county-level economic trends, priorities and opportunities. The Schmidt Training and Technology Center at Reading Area Community College will host its “Fundamentals of Project Management” workshop from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.  This project management course offers a fundamental look into the key best practices of project management. This hands-on workshop is designed to bridge the gap between experimenting with AI and seeing real business/productivity gains, by focusing on real work rather than just tool demonstrations. Attendees will apply AI to a real task or workflow from your own business or professional work during the session.
