Occupied Jerusalem, March 10 (SANA) Israeli occupation forces uprooted hundreds of olive trees near the West Bank city of Bethlehem, the Palestinian news agency WAFA reported on Monday.

WAFA said Israeli troops, accompanied by bulldozers, entered the town of Dar Salah and the nearby village of al-Khas east of Bethlehem, where they uprooted olive trees more than 60 years old as well as several forest trees.

According to the Palestinian Authority’s Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission, Israeli forces and settlers carried out 1,965 attacks across the occupied West Bank in February, targeting Palestinians and their property.
