NEW PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – A police incident in New Philadelphia is causing school bus service disruptions for local elementary students.
In a post on social media, Pottsville Area School District officials said after school transportation may be delayed due to the incident.
If it is, students who live in New Philadelphia and use district transportation will be instead taken to St. Clair Elementary School, where they’ll remain until a parent/guardian/designee picks them up at the school.
Otherwise, those students will be transported home if/when the bus route is reopened.
