DALTON, Pa. — It’s a different kind of Thanksgiving celebration in one part of Lackawanna County. Instead of turkeys being on the menu, they are the guests of honor!
Indraloka Animal Sanctuary is holding its annual “ThanksLiving” celebration on November 8. The animal sanctuary near Dalton rescues and provides lifetime care for farm animals facing abuse, neglect, hoarding, and more.
During the ThanksLiving event, guests will feed the turkeys a feast created for them, including cranberries, raw pumpkin pie, pumpkin seeds, spinach salad, blueberries, and other healthy treats. After that, guests enjoy a catered lunch, live music, a raffle, a silent auction, and more.
ThanksLiving is Saturday, November 8, 11-4. For tickets, click here.
