Police said an investigation is underway after a man was hurt in a shooting that happened in North Philadelphia early Wednesday.
According to police, officers responded to a report of a shooting at about 4:12 a.m., along the 2200 block of North 8th Street in the Franklinville section of North Philadelphia.
Here, officials said, they found a 25-year-old man who had suffered gunshot wounds to his right arm and left thigh.
The man, officials said, was taken to a nearby hospital where he was listed in stable condition.
An investigation into this incident, officials said, remains ongoing.
