Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania honor four women who exemplify their mission at Take the Lead fundraiser

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — The Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania recognized four women as role models for the next generation.

The ceremony Monday night at The College of Physicians of Philadelphia in Center City was part of the Girl Scouts annual “Take the Lead” fundraiser.

Honorees included Jacqueline Cuddeback, Chief Revenue Officer, Philadelphia Phillies; Maria Gonzalez, President, HACE CDC; Cherri Gregg, Public Media Host, WHYY, and Angela Val, President and Chief Executive Officer, Visit Philadelphia.

Young ladies from the Girl Scouts were behind the entire program, serving as emcees and presenters.

The event also helped raise money to send hundreds of Scouts to camp this summer.
