Israeli enemy forces raid Jenin city center, set up military checkpoint at entrance to western Bethlehem countryside
Jenin/Bethlehem – Saba: Israeli enemy forces raided the center of Jenin city on Wednesday evening.
The Palestinian news agency Wafa quoted local Palestinian sources as saying that the forces stormed Abu Bakr Street in the city center, raided shops, and deployed their vehicles in the markets.
Meanwhile, Israeli enemy forces have continued their raid on the town of Zababdeh, south of Jenin, since the morning, carrying out a campaign of raids, arrests, and harassment against Palestinian citizens.
In Bethlehem, Israeli forces set up a military checkpoint on Wednesday at the main entrance to the western Bethlehem countryside.
A local Palestinian source told Wafa that the forces set up a military checkpoint at the Shuli gate, on the road leading to the towns of Battir and Nahalin, and the villages of Husan and Wadi Fukin. They stopped and searched vehicles, checked citizens’ IDs, and obstructed their movement, causing a traffic jam in the area.
