Crews make quick work of structure fire in City of Erie

On Sunday night, crews responded to a structure fire that broke out in the City of Erie.

Calls went out around 7 p.m. on Sunday at a home in the 200 block of West 20th Street.

According to the chief on scene, the home was vacant and boarded up, which caused difficulties for responders when entering the building.

The fire was ignited in multiple locations within the home, but was under control within half an hour.
