Danucera Skincare, a Philadelphia brand founded by esthetician Danuta Mieloch, has been selected for inclusion in this year’s Oscars swag bags. This year marks the second year that the Danucera line will be given to Oscar nominees and presenters.

The swag bags will include several Danucera bestselling products focused on balancing toners and the brand’s skin-balancing properties.

In addition, Oscar nominees will receive an invitation to the Danucera Sculpt and Lift facial, offered at Rescue Spa locations in Rittenhouse, Philadelphia, or New York City. According to Mieloch, the treatment uses nanocurrent, microcurrent, and picocurrent technologies to regenerate and rebuild the skin.

Danucera’s roots run deep in Philadelphia, where Mieloch founded Rescue Spa in 2004. Being asked to be part of this year’s Oscars celebration is a surreal moment, she told Action News 6abc.

“I’ve done thousands and thousands of faces, and this knowledge I put into my skin care,” she said. “So my skin care gets incredible results. It’s not overwhelming to skin. It’s all about rebuilding and regenerating the skin and just actually educating people to be on the ritual.”

While Danucera products are available at Bergdorf Goodman and through online retailers, Mieloch said Philadelphia will always remain an important part of the brand’s identity and growth.

“I love Philadelphia. You know, Rescue’s past started here, and there is something, you know, Philadelphia’s all about love,” she stated.

The 98th Academy Awards, hosted by Conan O’Brien, will air on Sunday, March 15, at 7 p.m. on ABC and Hulu.
