A man is in the hospital after falling into the Lackawanna River in Scranton.
Officials on scene say the man fell into the water near the Lackawanna Heritage Trail by the North Scranton Expressway and Mulberry Street just before noon on Thursday.
First responders were able to get him out of the river near Broadway Street just behind the SouthSide Sports Complex.
He was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
