PITTSBURGH, PA — After two decades as one of the city’s go-to breakfast-lunch spots, Eggs-R-Us in the Noble Manor Shopping Center on Noblestown Road has shut its doors.

The announcement was made via a social media post by owner Lisa Pasqualino.

“It was not an easy decision,” a post on the restaurant’s Facebook page stated. “Turning everything off and locking the doors for the last time, I was a little sad but also excited.

“I realized that I get to keep all the truly important things. The smiles, laughter, tears, hugs and I love yous.”

The message concluded with warm words for the diner’s patrons.

“Thank you not just for being customers, but for becoming family and for every minute of it. I wouldn’t trade it for the world. This is not goodbye. It’s I love you see you soon.”
