LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Do you have old, unused, or unwanted medications lingering in your cabinets and drawers?
If so, you’ll want to stop by the Lower Merion Township Police Department this weekend.
Lower Merion Police are hosting a drug take back day Saturday at their station during their open house event.
Disposing of medications at the event will prevent them from ending up in places they shouldn’t be.
Throwing out old medications in the trash or flushing them down a toilet can lead to leaching into groundwater.
And keeping them in homes could result in an unintended person getting their hands on them.
The Lower Merion Township Police Department is located at 71 Lancaster Ave. in Ardmore.
