Pennsylvania woman charged with felony eluding in Fauquier | Public Safety & Crime

A Pennsylvania woman is facing a felony eluding charge in Fauquier County after a Wednesday pursuit.

Around 12:15 p.m., a Fauquier County Sheriff’s Office deputy attempted to conduct a traffic stop for failure to obey lane markings, according to the sheriff’s office.

After the driver failed to stop, a pursuit proceeded in the 8700 block of James Madison Highway near Beach Road.

Heading south, the driver, later identified as 56-year-old Nicole Madrigal of Carlisle, Pennsylvania, eventually stopped before entering a heavy-traffic area in Opal. She was taken into custody for felony eluding, misdemeanor reckless driving by speed and a summons for failing to obey lane markings. She was being held without bond Thursday at the Adult Detention Center.
