Pope Leo XIV will be honored with the National Constitution Center’s 38th Liberty Medal on the eve of the United States’ 250th anniversary. The first U.S.-born pope, who attended Villanova University, will deliver an acceptance speech virtually from the Vatican during a public ceremony outside the National Constitution Center on Independence Mall on July 3.
