How they got here: Scranton Prep beat Lancaster Catholic, 52-27, Allentown Central Catholic, 63-28, and Susquehanna Twp., 49-43; Neumann-Goretti defeated Susquenita, 61-31, Valley View, 60-51, and Central Columbia, 58-41.
Up next: Winner advances to the championship Saturday at noon at the Giant Center in Hershey against the winner of 7-1 Oakland Catholic and 7-2 Blackhawk.

In six postseason games, she is averaging 18.5 points. … Sophomore Shannon Bestrycki hit three 3-pointer and scored 11 of her 14 points in the fourth quarter against Susquehanna Twp. Fenton was a Lackawanna Division I coaches honorable mention. She had seven points, including five free throws late to season the quarterfinal win. … Kaszuba was voted to the Lackawanna Division I coaches’ All-Defensive team. … Scranton Prep averages 51.4 points and allows 34.9 points. … Neumann-Goretti is making its 14th PIAA appearance (45-7). The Saints are defending Class 4A state champions, beating Lansdale Catholic in last year’s final, 48-45. They also won titles in Class 2A in 2015 and 2016 and Class 3A in 2017, 2018 and 2022. They lost in the Class 2A final in 2014 to Seton LaSalle, 58-50. … The Saints average 57.9 points and allow 47.3 points. … Neumann-Goretti has won 16 of its last 19. … Baker had a team-high 19 points in the quarterfinals as the Saints handed Central Columbia its first loss.
