Groundskeeping workshop: A free groundskeeper workshop is being offered by Lackawanna County and the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders on March 29 from noon-1:30 p.m. at PNC Field, Moosic, for all coaches, team volunteers and others who help take care of fields for area youth and community leagues. The program will cover mound and plate care, infield and game preparation, equipment, creating foul lines and more. Registration by March 27 is required by emailing bechtelp@lackawannacounty.org.

60th class reunion: Scranton Technical High School class of 1966 plans to hold its 60th class reunion June 20 from 2-6 p.m. at the Waldorf Park Social Club, 13 Waldorf Lane, Scranton. The cost is $55/person, with buffet, cash bar and music by EJ the DJ. Checks payable to Augie Grant. Make sure you put Scranton Technical H.S. Class of 1966 on the memo section of your check.
