WILLINGBORO, N.J. (WPVI) — Crews are working hard across the Delaware Valley to restore power to thousands of people following strong storms on Monday that also caused widespread damage throughout the region.

Meanwhile, in Burlington County, New Jersey, downed wires and poles have led to many road closures in Moorestown along Hartford and Creek roads.

A tree fell into a home along the 300 block of Wilson Avenue near Mantua Pike in Woodbury Heights, Gloucester County.

One block over on Lincoln Avenue, downed wires across the road are blocking parked cars.

There are also multiple reports of damage in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania.

Strong winds blew the roof off of New Santiago’s restaurant on S. 3rd St. in Coopersburg.

Action News also checked out several additional reports of storm damage in Allentown.

The area of 12th Street and Downyflake Lane is covered with a long stretch of power lines toppled over with wires all over the street.
