A water main break in the area of Broad Street and Hunting Park Avenue has caused a closure of the intersection on Tuesday night.

A leak in a 12 inch water main was reported to the Philadelphia Water Department around 6 pm. on March 17, officials said.

NBC10 was on the scene in North Philadelphia to find water and work crews on the roadway.

Both north and southbound of Broad Street as well as Roosevelt Boulevard were shut down as of 8 p.m. on Tuesday.
