A funeral service for the Pennsylvania state police corporal who was killed in the line of duty earlier this month is set for Wednesday.
The funeral for Cpl. Timothy O’Connor will be held 11 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church in Downingtown.
Hundreds of people including dozens of fellow officers paid their respects to O’Connor during a viewing Tuesday.
O’Connor was shot and killed while responding to a report of an erratic driver in West Caln Township.
Police say he stopped the vehicle at Route 10 and Michael Road, and within seconds of approaching it, Jesse Elks opened fire, killing O’Connor.
Authorities say Elks then took his own life.
