FISHERS, Ind.- An Andretti home is on the market.
But don’t worry, local racing fans; the family isn’t parting ways with any of its Lehigh Valley real estate.
The home that is up for grabs- for a cool $11.9 million- is Michael Andretti’s estate outside Indianapolis, Indiana.Â

The more than five-acre lakefront property is in the city of Fishers, where the headquarters for the motorsports powerhouse Andretti Global is based.
Last year, Michael Andretti stepped back from managing the day-to-day operations of the company that bears his name. He now serves as an advisor. The change has given him more freedom to stray from the so-called Racing Capital of the World. The Indianapolis Motor Speedway is a central hub for motorsports, hosting some of racing’s biggest events, like the Indy 500, the Brickyard 400, and the IndyCar Grand Prix.
“Their plan all along when they retired was to go to their second residence,” said listing agent Joel Woelfle, about Andretti and his wife, Jodi. “They’ve been longtime Florida residents and so he and Jodi and their family have relocated to Florida.”

Woelfle, of the Williams Richwine Real Estate Group in Indiana, said he sold the Fishers property to the Andrettis in 2016. They then embarked on a massive, multi-year renovation project that included tearing down and rebuilding an expanded main residence. A separate carriage house was added in 2023.
The estate now spans more than 21,000 square feet, with nine bedrooms, nine full and three half-baths, seven fireplaces, an elevator, and a 12-bay, climate-controlled garage. It takes a whopping 13 HVAC systems to heat and cool the whole property.
The “extras” are many: a 700-bottle wine cellar, 15-seat bar, theater, arcade and fitness center, just to name a few.

Outside, there’s a heated veranda and covered terrace, plus a 50-foot pool with waterfalls and a jacuzzi. The full listing can be viewed here.
Woelfle said Jodi Andretti was the driving force behind the final design: “Michael gives her credit for putting this house together. A lot of the special features that we mentioned, and what you see in the photos, he credits his wife, Jodi, with doing.”

The not-so-humble abode in Indiana is even swankier than the 12,000 square foot home where Michael Andretti lived for many years in Bushkill Township. Built in 1986, the six-bedroom, six-and-half bath home was listed for sale for $3.4 million in 2008, as Andretti prepared to move to Indianapolis. 69 News was given a tour of the property at the time.Â
Later, Michael’s son Marco Andretti, the third generation in the famed racing family, announced he bought the place- his childhood home- which he still owns today. Patriarch Mario Andretti lives right next door.Â
The Andretti family is, of course, racing royalty. Even though Mario Andretti was born in Italy, the Lehigh Valley has adopted him as a native son. He moved to the Nazareth area with his family, including twin brother Aldo, in 1955, and never left.
Michael Andretti went on to have his own successful racing career. He retired as a fulltime driver in 2003.
Woelfle told 69 News, even though the Fisher estate only recently went on the market, there’s already been some interest. “It’s a special property that’s going to take a special buyer, just because the sheer size and the price point where it is,” he said.
