Easter egg hunt: Easter egg hunt sponsored by the Jermyn Police Department, the Jermyn Lions Club and Jermyn Knights of Columbus Council 7622, March 28, noon, Rippy Callahan Park on Mellow Court in Jermyn. Candy, eggs and other giveaways will be part of the hunt’s activities. The hunt is open to children up to 12 years of age. In case of inclement weather, the hunt will be held at the borough building, 440 Jefferson Ave.

Wine event: A Toast to Tomorrow wine event benefiting Scranton Tomorrow, March 26, 6 p.m., the Colonnade, 401 Jefferson Ave., Scranton. Guests must be age 21 or older to attend. The event features wine pairing by Fred Magnotta, food pairings by the Colonnade and POSH Events, a wine pull, basket raffle and more. Tickets are on sale now for $45 per person. Breakfast buffet: Madisonville Fire Company breakfast buffet, March 29, 8 a.m.-noon, 3131 Madisonville Road. Menu includes pancakes, French toast, eggs, home fries, bacon, sausage, homemade sausage gravy and biscuits, strawberry rhubarb preserves and beverage.

Annual fish dinner: William Walker Hose Company, 803 Penn Ave., annual fish dinner (drive-thru take-out only), March 27, 11 a.m.to 7 p.m. or until sold out, $16/advance and $18/day of event. Tickets are available from members or at the borough office weekdays from 7-11 a.m. until March 26. Tickets can be held at the door at the $16 price by leaving a message at 570-282-6059 until March 26.
300 club drawing: The 300 Club of St. John’s Russian Orthodox Cathedral 26th week final drawings for this session of the club, March 31, 6 p.m., church center, 701 Hill St. and can be watched live via St. John’s Russian Orthodox Cathedral Mayfield, Pa, on Facebook or on St. John’s website via livestream. In order to be eligible for the final drawing, all memberships must be paid in full. If you are not presently a member of the 300 Club and would like to join the next session, you may do so by sending your name, address and payment of $25 to St. John’s 300 Club, 422 Callahan Drive, Jermyn, PA 18433.
