The manhunt for the suspect accused of murdering two tow truck drivers in Philadelphia has intensified as the U.S. Marshals Service says they have joined the search.
The reward for information leading to the arrest of Najee Williams, 27, has climbed to $21,500.

According to the Philadelphia Police Department, the first incident happened on Monday, Dec. 22, 2025, around 12:17 p.m. Officers had responded to the 4200 Torresdale Avenue and found 20-year-old David Garcia-Morales inside a 2017 Ford F-450 Super Duty towing vehicle.
Police said Garcia-Morales, who had been shot in the neck and thigh, was transported to a nearby hospital but succumbed to his injuries on Dec. 26.
Williams is also wanted for a second shooting that took place on Sunday, Jan. 11, 2026, according to police.
Around 7:52 p.m., officers were called to the 2100 block of Knorr Street, where they found 25-year-old Aaron Whitfield suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the head and body inside a tow truck. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A second victim, a 21-year-old woman, was shot in the left leg during the same incident and was transported to a nearby hospital in stable condition.
At a press conference on Feb. 8, police stated that Williams is the owner of N.K.W Towing & Recovery LLC and is also a tow truck driver.
Investigators identified Williams as the suspect in both shootings based on surveillance video.
Williams faces charges including murder, reckless endangerment and weapons offenses.
Police said Williams is considered armed and dangerous, and members of the public are cautioned not to approach him.
