SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— Residents in Lackawanna County will have their first chance to hear candidates debate why they should be the next commissioner.
Wednesday morning, Brenda Sacco was sworn in as the interim county commissioner.

She will have that post for only 12 days.
Independent Michael Cappelini, Republican Chet Merli, and Democrat Thom Welby have been campaigning since the beginning of September.
