OBITUARY
William A. Miller, Sr., 79, of New Tripoli, PA, passed away peacefully at home on March 14, 2026. He was the husband of Charlotte M. (Miller) Miller, having celebrated 58 years of marriage on March 9, 2026. Born in Kutztown, PA, he was the son of the late Herbert P. and Viola E. (Miller) Miller. Bill was a veteran, having proudly served in the US Army from 1964-67. Bill was the longtime owner and operator of Miller’s Auto Body, serving the New Tripoli community for 47 years, and previously operating in Krumsville for 2 years. He was a member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in Kutztown. Bill was a member of the Lynnport Fire Co, where he served as former president for 15 years. He was a member of Huguenot Lodge #377 F&AM Kutztown, and was a member of the Lehigh Consistory in Allentown, Raja Shrine in Reading, and the Virginville Grange. In addition to his loving wife, Charlotte, he is survived by his son, William A. Miller, Jr. and wife, Jolene of New Tripoli; daughter, Valerie A. wife of Forrest G. Schaeffer, III of Kutztown; grandchildren, Maggie, Samuel and Sarah Schaeffer, and Dalton and Kiersten Miller; step-grandchildren, Brianamarie and Jessica Mitich; brothers, Lester Miller and wife, Faye of Kutztown, Rev. Richard Miller and wife, Carolyn of Topton, Robert Miller and wife, Margaret of Kutztown; sister, Jean Riley of Homosassa, FL. He was predeceased by his siblings Russell Miller, Elizabeth Weigle, and Lee Miller. Bill’s funeral service with military honors will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at 11 AM in the Nester Funeral Home, 8405 Kings Highway New Tripoli. Calling period begins at 9:30AM until the Masonic Service at 10:45AM. Vicar Jeremiah T. Heydt will officiate.
