UPPER SAUCON TWP., Pa. – Traffic on a stretch of I-78 eastbound in Lehigh County was tied up after a crash involving a tractor-trailer Thursday morning.

County dispatchers say the crash happened just before 4:30 a.m. in Upper Saucon Township. It happened between the Quakertown and Hellertown/Bethlehem exits.

Traffic is flowing on one lane there.

No word on if anybody was injured, or what led up to the crash.

Traffic was backed up just past the MacArthur Road exit all the way towards Lehigh Street.

People are advised to give themselves time and head out early for their morning commute.
