BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Buckle up! The Lehigh Valley Auto Show is in full swing on its second day.

People from all around the region are visiting to check out hundreds of cars.

Many people visit to check out their dream cars, others are on a mission for the perfect ride.

“We love it. We love coming every year. We always make sure that we have it in our schedule,” said Whitney Kehley of Coopersburg.

If you love that new car smell, you’ll want to start your engine, put the pedal to the metal and visit the Lehigh Valley’s brightest, shined and polished rides.

The Lehigh Valley Auto Show appeals to all ages, even for children like Brooklyn.

“Our daughter, Brooklyn, she’s loves Lightning McQueen, all things cars right now,” said Drew Devery of Quakertown.

And while she might not find the famous car, she will get the chance to check out hundreds of vehicles.

Drew and Samantha Devery brought their little ones along and their daughter is hoping to come home in a new ride.

“She’s trying to convince me to let daddy buy a blue truck,” said Samantha.

“How is that going?” asked 69 News Reporter Cierra Genelle.

“They actually might have me convinced,” said Samantha.

The five-day long show, with exhibits spanning three buildings on Lehigh University’s Goodman Campus in Bethlehem, also had loyal visitor Kehley convinced.

“I actually came last year with the intent of, like, looking for a new car, and then I bought a new car right after,” said Kehley.

Kehley, a mental health worker, is visiting with her clients, using the show to help teach the importance of ownership and budgeting.

“I think just like being able to be hands on, and all of the staff and everybody are super welcoming,” said Kehley.

“This is my car,” said Kristi Moyer of Allentown.

Showing off her work for the first time in the auto show is Moyer, hoping to take her pride and joy to new heights.

“One goal is to get it all the way out to California to SEMA,” said Moyer.

The show runs through Sunday.

Events will wrap at 8p.m. on Thursday and open back again Friday at 10am.
