With spring arriving, a sweet seasonal staple is here as well. On Friday, March 20, Rita’s Italian Ice & Frozen Custard is celebrating the first day of spring with free 6-ounce Italian Ice for customers at all of their locations nationwide.

Rita’s is also celebrating spring in Philadelphia with a “Swing Into Spring” pop-up event at Schuylkill River Park on 300 South 25th Street from 3 p.m. through 5 p.m. on Friday, March 20.
The event will include free samples of Rita’s Mango Italian Ice as well as a new mystery Italian Ice flavor. It’s all part of a contest Rita’s will run from March 20 through March 29 in which customers will taste the mystery water ice and try to guess the flavor.
