PITTSBURGH, PA — A passing cold front will reintroduce the potential for strong to severe storms throughout Western Pennsylvania today.

Tornadoes also are possible, according to the National Weather Service.

Storm chances will increase mainly after 2 p.m. and continue until just before midnight.

Saturday will be quiet weather-wise, but the severe weather risk will resume on Sunday evening. The primary threats will be damaging winds and hail, the weather service stated in a social media post.
