Tour Erie presents: Eerie Stories, Ghosts, and Legends Tour
Travel back in time to discuss the bloody, but successful, Battle of Lake Erie and the sad legacy of Misery Bay. Learn about the tale of the Lake Erie Storm Hag, swing by some buildings in downtown Erie that are said to be haunted and delve into more modern true crime stories, including the infamous pizza bomber case that was covered in Netflix’s “Evil Genius” documentary. Erie Philharmonic presents: Brahms, Beethoven and Rachmaninoff
Perhaps one of the Russian composer’s most popular works, Sergei Rachmaninoff’s Symphony No. 2 premiered in 1908 to great acclaim. The philharmonic will open with a performance of Nänie by Brahms, featuring the Erie Philharmonic Chorus, followed by Beethoven’s Violin Concerto with violin soloist David McCarroll.
