Erykah Badu announced as headliner for second day of 2026 Roots Picnic

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — You better call Tyrone! Erykah Badu has just been named the headliner for the second day of the 2026 Roots Picnic.

She will take the stage on Sunday, May 31.

Organizers revealed Tuesday, that Jay-Z will headline along with the Roots on night one.

It was announced last week that the Roots Picnic is moving this year from the Mann Center to Belmont Plateau in Philadelphia’s Fairmount Park.

Other performers include Kehlani, Brandy, T.I., Jermaine Dupri, De La Soul and many more.

The Roots Picnic will take place on Saturday, May 30 and Sunday, May 31.
