PITTSBURGH, PA — Three new restaurants have opened in the city’s Strip District.
Atria’s, Juniper Grill and the 1930 Cigar Bar all have had soft openings on Railroad Street. A formal grand opening is planned for April 1.
All three establishments are owned by Pittsburgh restaurateurs Pat and Nancy McDonnell.
The Atria’s opening represents a return to the city for the popular chain. Atria’s has been strictly a suburban destination since its PNC Park location closed nearly a decade ago.
Juniper Grill is launching its first location within the city. Its other restaurants in Western Pennsylvania are in Cranberry, Peters, Pleasant Hills and Murrysville.
The 1930 Cigar Bar is a new concept establishment.
